Energy Healing is a therapeutic touch technique that uses the body’s chakra system (or network of energy centers) to restore balance and alignment. Chakras are seven energy centers that relate to specific behaviors, traits and areas in the body. During a session, the practitioner is able to identify which energy center(s) has caused physical and/or emotional pain, discomfort or unfulfillment.

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing modality established in the mid-1800s by Buddhist monk, Dr. Mikao Usui. The technique is often for stress reduction, relaxation and promotes wellness. Reiki treats the whole person – body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Clients often experience a sense of deep relaxation, peace, clarity and rejuvenation after Reiki sessions.

While Reiki is spiritual in nature, the modality is not religious. Reiki is ideal for all persons from all walks of life. Like energy healing, Reiki uses the body’s own chi or life-force energy to heal itself.
